Has anyone used the XIM 301316 or 301314 on a newer Gen 3 with the 58 tooth tone ring? I got conflicting info on weather it would work or not.

I am curious if this would work too. I have a 2012 6.4 and if I don't have to pull the crank all the better.

So I got ahold of a good tech guy at FAST. It works no problems. The FAST doesn't have the same features as the MSD but will work as a stand alone ignition controller on the newer engines.

From what I understand the XIM doesn't have a step retard or 2 step function.
