hi
got a valiant with yukon axes that after removing the lug nuts i had to put car on lift and use a bock of wood and a 4 lb hammer to get the wheels off from behind !

the register <center boss > was over size .

someone must have used a impact to install the police wheels .

a little bent at lug nut holes !!

fortunity i have a lathe to cut the dia. to correct size .

how many others have this problem ?

a flat tire and you aint gettin the wheel off without a block of wood and a 4 lb hammer !

another way to break the wheel loose is to loosen the nuts 2-4 threads, then drive in a tight circle, alternating between giving it the gas, then jamming the brakes.
this works GREAT separating alloy factory wheels from the axles in the rust belt, as the wheel corrosion really makes them stick !
just like your problem.
done this many times, my BFH swings ain't like they ust'a be...... grin

Any other wheels handy? I would investigate to find out which parts are out of spec. The wheels would be the easiest to "adjust" to fit. Randy's stuff is usually trouble free.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Moparx's tale reminds me of a Taurus I briefly had; its factory wheels had stuck on the center registers so tight that I had to back off the lug nuts and drive around my yard in tight rt & lt circles until I could hear them clunk.
Kinda hysterical.
I hit the wheel centers with a rotary file on a die grinder and afterwards all was good.

As for the axle registers, I haven't had that problem, though they're sometimes a pretty tight fit.

hi
the wheels are NOT the problem , it is over size axels ! who wants to mod every set of wheels or not be able to fix a flat with a loner wheel .

30 years in a machine shop so i can use measuring tools.

randy or whoever answered the phone tried to say the were not there axels because the were not double drilled for press in and thread in studs !

called mancinni and verrified the part no , and was told they ARE yukon !

yukon sticker in the center of axels .

if you have there axels better see if you have this prob !
