The "sharpness" is obviously tooling/handling error during production, easily corrected with some hammer/dolly work and as far as the ribbing, multiple vendors on even original production parts resulted in changes, and sometimes NOS replacement parts differ from production line pcs because of updates/vendor used/etc/etc, all depends on what AMD used for modeling their dies...
