Found a nice little truck with a bad 3.9 for cheap. Just happen to have a low mileage '77 360/727 combo on hand. Any mounts available for this swap? IIRC, LA engines won't accept Magnum mounts and most folks are swapping Magnums into older vehicles, not vice-versa. Just spitballin' here... Tim

Great tips! I need to file this info away... I've done the swap a few times. I use truck brackets and mounts and fab a box on each side of the frame and I always move the engine and trans. back to the firewall. They actually handle much better when you move the engine back. If I remember right it's 2 1/2 inches back. I use 3/16 plate to make the boxes for the mounts. I put slots in them just like the trucks. It;s a very easy job if you can weld.
