Even as a parts car, is it worth $2800?

For sale: 1969 Dart 340 Swinger with AC, numbers matching 340 and 727.
No title, showing 92,xxx miles
Please message me with questions

This car was wrecked many years ago, parked and then had a tree fall on it.

Everything under the hood is original including: air cleaner, AVS, distributor, intake manifold, X heads, HP exhaust manifolds, radiator and shroud.

Front disc brakes are missing, but has the original K member with factory sway bar.
A body 8 3/4 rear end has 3.23 gears (open), SBP axles (brakes drums are gone)

Bench seat car with thumb wheel AM radio inside, steering wheel doesn't have any gaps or anything beyond hairline cracks.

The body is beyond saving, but has many good parts including: both bumpers, grille, LH headlight bezel, hood, original gas cap, RH tinted door glass, both tinted vent windows, side marker lights

What a shame. Might be charitable and add the rt rocker molding, rt tail lamp, maybe the left tailpipe tip, and just maybe the rt door.
Mechanically, it could be sound, but it was obviously parked & left to rot, = crapshoot.
Rhinodart would be the expert on parts values, but I'd think at $2800 + transport and "final expenses", any buyer has to really need those parts.

For the life of me, I don't understand why someone parks a car like this and just lets it sit and decay after a tree falls on it! Awful!

At the VERY LEAST, pull the engine.

Yup, what a damn shame! It does have some parts that are obviously worth saving, hopefully someone will buy and save what's left. twocents

I can tell you this, it took me a few years to get the correct A/C brackets for a 340 in an A-Body! I think the value is pretty close, and really don't see why the body couldn't be restored, I have seen much worse done, but of course is the value there when done? The worst part about it is not title, unless you just want it for parts. I bought a 340 Swinger that was rusted but complete for pretty much the same money 30 years ago... work

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Wow..... shock Really? Punted in the side and a tree dropped on it.........doesn't look like there's a straight panel on it and looks bowed from the punt.
