My old pump gas Duster weighed right at 3450 Lbs. with me in it, best ever was 9.993 at 134.6 MPH or so. That was on a set of 5 yrs. old M/T 10.5x31x15W slicks on a set of 10 inch wide wheels, exhaust corked up with the air cleaner on at Woodburn in July at the Mopar race back around 2011 or so.
It ran a bunch of 10.00 at 134.+ MPH corked up, it was only legal to 10.00 whiney shruggy
I put a bunch 1/8 and 1/4 mile runs on it as well as swapping a bunch of different heads, Carbs, crankshaft to increase the compression from 9.25 to 1 to by adding .050 stroke from 4.25 to 4.300 and so on wrench
That car went faster every time I touched it, it was FUN boogie

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

That would be doing it the hard way.....My Cuda is an original 4-speed car. The pedals are still in it. The reason I never did it, no one made a stick that could handle the engine at that power level other than a Lenco....And those are not cheap and they are heavy and it requires cutting the floor. I still think you would be hard pressed to get a stick to live other than a G-force or a Lenco....
