Been searching for an hour for a cross reference for Accel 414S to Autolite. Does anyone know how the 414's would match up with an Autolite 3924? Colder or hotter? By the way, the 3/16" difference in length don't do much for header clearance!!!

Look at both plugs and compare the center porclyn insulators, the bigger one is hotter scope

how far out they protrude from flush with the steel shell, A longer distance means the heat has to travel further to be dissipated back into the core so that extended tip runs hotter.

The hotter plugs(for the same application) have fatter thicker insulators around the center ground electrode scope

Thanks for the replies. I guess a better way to ask my question is, is the Accel 0414 hotter or colder than the Accel 0416? Checking the porcelain of both the 0414's and the 3924's, they look identical.

Bigger last number is hotter on Accels since day one is what I remember.
That new chart shows that also up
Take a look at a Autolite 3923 compared to both of the other ones you have now scope It is colder than the 3924 up
