Decent used parts are getting hard to find. It doesn’t matter if it’s an emblem, an engine, or exhaust; if you buy used, there’s a good chance that what you’re getting has been abused in it’s life on a muscle car. Oil pans are a good example. As the unsung hero on the bottom side of an engine bay, plenty of pans have seen their fair share of scrapes, dings, and dents. Plus, so many different pans were used that it’s hard to go to a swap meet and be sure the one you’re looking at is going to fit.
