Wookie316 OP enthusiast Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 326 Alberta	Anyone know if a Doug’s D452 will work on a 440-1 raised port head in a B Body? I don’t have to worry about torsion bars as I have an Alterkation front end, but I am curious if there is any starter interference or floor board contact? Any real life testing appreciated. Thanks. 1971 Plum Crazy Super Bee. 572 World Aluminum block with a Cope 727 & Dana 4.10 out back. 9.88 @ 138 with a 1.35 60 NA. Dialed back to 10.0’s. 4000 lbs with me in it.

DoubleD top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,296 NE Ohio	I have used them on an INDY EZ-1 head and a RB with a 4-speed and auto trans with no issues - but the 440-1 head puts the header out further out and up toward the fender well - my guess it would hit on the passenger side - maybe if you were using a 400 block it would fit.
