Anyone know if a Doug’s D452 will work on a 440-1 raised port head in a B Body? I don’t have to worry about torsion bars as I have an Alterkation front end, but I am curious if there is any starter interference or floor board contact?
Any real life testing appreciated. Thanks.

I have used them on an INDY EZ-1 head and a RB with a 4-speed and auto trans with no issues - but the 440-1 head puts the header out further out and up toward the fender well - my guess it would hit on the passenger side - maybe if you were using a 400 block it would fit.
