PG Classics has seat belt kits, stock appearing for 1970-71 E bodies. Anyone have any experience with them?
Just curious as I will need some belts.

I put a set of BE&A in my '71 when I bought it and they are very nice. I assume they are the same source as Mike had some sort of business relationship with PG.

Are you looking for accuracy or just something that works? Would they be for your T/A?

Right now I'm looking at the set from BE&A. I want corrrect 70 type belts for the T/A, but this is a driver TA. Not looking to do a Snake Oyl $1,500 set.

Well here is what you need to know, the PG set is sewn in the American Safety style, which was only available on cars made at the Los Angeles plant. I think the BEA ones are the same. So, they never came on cars from Detroit(Hamtramck). Detroit cars all used Pontonier belts, which are sewn very differently. Also, ALL PG and BEA belts for 1970 use 1971 chrome ends on them, which is just a typical short cut that anyone doing a crap repop would typically do. If neither of those details matter to you, then,.........
Just my two cents.

The set I got from PG Classics for my '69 Road Runner were not good! The belts are the wrong lengths and the retractable lap belts wind the opposite direction to factory belts.

Also, they are for show only and not to be used as a safety restraint! Useless in my opinion. Snake Oyl is expensive, but good. Bill Edwards is the guy to go to though.
