Just trying to figure out if I keep this for a while or move it along. Posted some information in the project section, One owner since new (pre-me). Black Plate, CA car. ZERO rust ( I have pics of the floor pans, they look better than most new cars). Factory 361. Interior is mostly all original except for the front seat and carpet. Has had some paint work Tailgate was replaced at some point in its life, but this one was media blasted to nothing and put back together. Trim was in great shape. Bumpers are all original chrome...not perfect, but very nice. Grille was de-dented, polished and re-anodized. Lots of information, original title, etc. Just looking at what I have and how many toys and I need and thinking at this point.

That's a nice car. Great color combo. Looks to be in great shape. Front disc conversion, too? What is that giant metal box bolted to the right inner fender?

Everyone loves wagons, until it's time to pay for one. Realistically, I think you could get $15k for it.

I am guessing that the old Italian guy that owned the car originally had that custom made. More than likely the old original plastic washer reservoir turned to dust at some point while he owned the car and he had that custom fabricated as the new reservoir. More than likely long before reproduction stuff was readily available. I left it alone, if just for conversation purposes. He does not appear to have altered much else. You probably missed the custom made wood plug on the short chunk of brass chain that is acting as the power steering reservoir 'cap'. Oh, and yes, full disc brake conversion. That was the main reason that the 14" wheels and tires did not end up back on it.

If it's as nice to drive as it is to look at, I'd think $20,000, based on a couple of B wagons I sold a few years back.

Big auction would definitely bring top dollar for that car, provided that giant metal box were replaced. biggrin WOuld it bring enough to justify transporting it and paying commission, vs. selling outright for likely less $$$? No clue.

I think $20k would be top dollar outside of an auction, and it would take time to find that buyer. It's a gorgeous car, but it's a wagon, and it's a 66 wagon on top of that, not a 68-72. 66-67 B-body coupes don't get all that much love, and the same is true of wagons.

Nice looking car. Good color combination. Value IMO is low teens,,,, tops.

Maybe I'm wrong but IMO finding someone to ante up anything close to the numbers mentioned here will be a struggle

That explains it. Probably where he kept his spare Tommy Gun. Seriously, beautiful car that pretty much anyone would be proud to own.

If it was a 63 , 64, 65 Plymouth it would bring good money .. the mid 60's 66,67,68 Dodges are behind on prices for sure

64 Plymouth 2 door anything , sells fast .. 64 Dodge .. takes forever

It will be for sale a long time at anything over 12000.

Beautiful long roof. Makes me pine for my 1st car, a '67 Coronet wagon.

I think $12K should be the floor, price-wise.

Make sure the wiper foam seals are replaced if they're dried up otherwise you get water in the fuse box. Ask me how I learned that in hindsight shruggy
