Are you running M1, M3, or M5 methanol?

Read up on it, and you should be able to go from there.

Always have. I run top lube and scent.

In fact i also run top lube in all my gas cans for my small gas engines also (lawn mower, power washer etc...) Seems to help keep the crud and corrosion out of the fuel bowls when they sit. Smells good while I am mowing so that's a bonus! LOL

We use Klotz Uplon lube in every jug, we fill out of 55gal barrels.
Also i don't drain the fuel system between races.

I run m1 and use top lube. But have never run without it so don’t know what may happen . Fogging the engine and carb afterwards is probably more important. I also filter the meth from barrel to jug and again jug to cell.

I never thought burning oil was a good idea. Can cause detonation...especially with high horsepower. We do not run it in our car. We also do not flush anything. We race about 12 outings per year.

I had some issues in the past if there was too much lube added. I ran it without for several years without any issues. Been running lube but thinking of trying it without again.
