Can someone explain the difference between the two types of rear fixed quarter glass inserts on the '73 -'74 Charger SE? There is the common three-slotted insert, then there is a more seldom seen square insert. Is one for the SE and the other for the SE Brougham? Thanks!

The square insert was the “spring special” or something like that, not many made that way but I do like them over the opera windows. If I remember it was available on the hardtop only, although I think the only difference between that and the SE is just the squared insert. Are you building one?

Thank you for the info!

I have a nice '74 SE that I restored almost 15 years ago. I have the louvers, but am now thinking that those square inserts have a cleaner look. I had seen a few like that in the past but never paid much attention to what they were.
