Correct link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1961-Chrysler-300-Series/333265407048? Great looking car but they came with the most inconvenient turn signal switch I have ever seen on a car and no trans park.

Where is it?

More inconvenient than the dash mounted switch on a '91 - up Lebaron Convertible?

Love the profile of these cars. thumbs

On the dash under the shifter buttons. La Baron turn signal is in the normal steering column spot. which I believe is a NHTSA mandate. I may be wrong about the mandate but I don't think so.

I did not know that. I found a pic after your reply, yeah, that is a wee bit more annoying than a Lebaron. shock

With the bit of rust and flaws in the paint it should peak at something reasonable. I test drove a '62 300 Sport in high school that had the "H" interior. They all had the turn signal lever in the same place, though. I did not find it annoying. That was one car that I should not have passed on...

I've never really been into fin cars or anything early 60s from Chrysler, Dodge Plymouth, but that thing is pretty cool. I never really paid attention to the dash board and cluster on those cars. Very neat.

Agreed, the 60 300J is the king. BTW, to the OP, the intakes are called LONG RAMS, Cross Rams were single piece intakes installed on Max Wedges and Hemis. .02

Now Bill. Although We usually agree on most things. But I digress not this time my friend. I will agree that the 60 IS nice. But I'm afraid its just an excellent 2nd choice.

IMO they got it right for 1961 .

I would take a 1961 chrysler 300 ( conv preferred please ) over ANY car Mopar has produced either before or since then
Especially in black with tan leather interior

I prefer the '60 over the '61 - the lamp treatments are more homogeneous with the rest of the design - but both are cool.
On the red car, that front bumper is forward of its proper location: something's up with that.

Admittedly, Id have a tough time choosing between a 58 300D and a 60 300F

But you couldn't get a Pont -A- Mausson 4 spd but now you'll probably say you couldn't get 3 spd like in 61 !!! no grin

I prefer them in this order: 1960, 1962, 1961. All convertibles, please. The interior (every part of it) is why I prefer these three years to any other 300.
