I have a mint 70 grill never cracked or repaired. Looking from backside of it...how ever it has been painted metallic silver at some point.can someone post a orignal grill that's not been painted so can see how much texture/sparkle the grill should have
I found some (just spray bomb) that I thought would look close. But maybe the flake is to big? And may be a tad on the bright side?

Frank Badalson sells the closest paint to original appearance that there is. It has a base medium grey with texture then you follow with a semi gloss clear with a ton of metallic in it. Takes a good painter to make sure it comes out even but it is fantastic!

Im.aware of that people can do it. What I was after was a shot of a unrestored grill showing a close up of it

The pics here might be helpful. Some decent closeups, but id say on this one its on the lighter side of the heaviness of the coat, some were thicker and would of had more flake and stand out a bit more.

Wow. I was thinking my grill had lot more flake then that. Like a gran coupe tail panel but lighter shade

You should clean your pm box out.
