In trucks I used to run NAPA extra heavy duty remans. That was years ago and they worked well. Now in my 4 speed car I run Center Force dual frictions.Light pedal and hooks great.Rocky

Were both remans.Never bought new because remans were just as good for the usage. We also installed lots of clutchs from Advance in trucks at the shop. Some were new some remans.Depended on price difference. They worked good also.Rocky ,

Last time I bought a replacement clutch (about 4 years ago), I got a NAPA replacement "kit". it was cheaper then buying individual parts by a long way.
The "kit" comes with the disc, the pressure plate, the throw out bearing, and a clutch alignment tool. I would put a new bushing/bearing in the crank at the same time as well. Gene

The NAPA guy could only find a kit for a 1969 D100 318: pressure plate/disc/throwout bearing/pilot bearing/alignment tool. Nothing for a BB app

I never seen an NP435 that used anything other than the 11" setup. BB or SB

If you have the old one you can compare to the new one

He came up with 23 spline 5 springs push? diaphram 1" spline size 10-15/16 not sure what this is & shaft 11-1-16". he was just reading off info for what he was seeing on his 69 D100 (318) listing. I will see if I still have/can find the old plate/disc.

I replaced the clutch in my 1990 W-250 last year in June.I used a kit from Rock Auto.Only thing I did not care for about it was the throw out bearing housing seemed to be made of some type of hard plastic.Put it in along with a new hydraulic slave cylinder.Worked real good at first, but I noticed when winter rolled around, when it got real cold, push in the clutch pedal and it seemed like forever to slow down and stop in order to put transmission in reverse to back out of the garage.I checked the fluid resovoir for the hydraulic slave cylinder several times.Did not appear to be low,did add a tiny amount.I have,nt figured that one out yet. When the weather warmed up a bit,no problem engaging or disengaging the clu drivetch and transmission. shruggy work

Pretty sure the D100 RR is working on isn't going to use the same hydraulic setup as the 1990 you mention. That part has changed since then.

Is that NAPA guy reading off the computer?

If so tell him to get int eo books and look it up. But I bet it's the one you want anyway.

I bought the big block hyd bell/used plate/disc etc from a guy & it will be going into my 65D100 that has a /6 hyd clutch 3 speed. The problem is that the NAPA guy cant find an app for anything other than a 318 and I don't know the year/app of the stuff I bought from the guy (& I forgot who). I think I will take the plate/disc in & go from there. The kid really tried over the phone but I think this calls for a hands on visual.

I went and looked at Sach's online catalog and basically every truck with the 11" clutch uses the same setup. /6. SB. BB all the same.

RR I think all you need is an 11" pressure plate and disc like this one https://www.summitracing.com/oh/parts/pft-mu5505-1b/overview/

If you think you need something with more bite go with a street unit from Mcleod twocents

I got a 12" centerforce they called a stage-1 20 years ago which was sposed to be a 20% or 30% over the stock clutch which has never slipped and its been in three different trucks

this is going in a truck that might not even be driven daily so likely I will go conservative. EDIT I counted the teeth on the flywheel & it is 186 teeth
