I have tried two different sets of "Custom" fit wires for my 1966 361. I have resigned myself to just having to make a set as the "Custom" ones all fit like garbage. So, whose wire sets are actually any good anymore? Nothing HP about the car, just want a set of wires that does not fit like junk.

Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

Lots of guys here swear by the Firecore wire sets, and judging by their photos, they're spot on.
Budget/non-OEM would be whatever low-resistance cut-your-own sets from Summit, Jeg's, etc.
For that kind of thing I usually get Accel or Taylor.

Firecores fit fine on my 69 RR with stock exh manifolds. Wires may route different on a 66 if they have end drop manifolds.

I like my Firecore set for stock 440-6. I got the stock looking version 7mm.

I have always used the cut to fit wires. Takes a little more time but I dislike messy looking plug wires.

i buy the components separate and make my own. everything fits like it's supposed to and I don't jump thru a bunch of hoops with vendors.
