I need to know what the specs are for the $1200 Mopar Head stud kit. Part Number P5007912

Most places are running out of stock so they are getting hard to find.

That said, I talked to ARP a few months back and they said they had nothing in their listings for the W9-RP. BUT if I had the specs they could get something together for me.

I know they are 1/2" dia. in the block and 7/16" dia. through the head. There are 3 different lengths. 2 sets are 10 pieces and 1 set is 16 pieces. 12-point nuts.

If I can get the lengths I think they could figure out the rest and put together an affordable set.

If someone knows all the details that would be awesome.

I used to have a set but "Storage Thieves" wanted them I guess!

Not sure I the RP studs are different, but Kent Ritter put me together my sets of 'stepped' W9 studs. Was much more affordable than tracking down pre-packaged kits.

There’s a place called Allens Fasteners on the net. They carry individual arp studs. I realize what you need are the actual dimensions, but you can come up with that by measuring the head/ block.

I don't have the Block/Heads with me. They're at Bondo's house and was hoping someone might be in the know.

Curious as to why regular W9 heads would need "stepped" studs. The ones I use with my W9 heads are not stepped.
Thanks!

Here is a cutaway of a rp head. The entire row of bolts between the ports are 7/16. The heads are much taller than a standard w9 also.

Here's Pictures of the studs I had. After another look it doesn't look as though they are stepped. BUT do have 2 different thread pitches on each end.

There also appears to be 2 diameters and 3 lengths.

I did look at some Chevy SB2 heads and studs and they look close?

I would say those are stepped down.

On a regular W9 stud the thread is the same size as the stud, not larger like the one shown.

Most all studs have coarse threads for the block and fine threads for the nuts on the head side.
