Thanks.
Its listed as a billet block. Do you have any idea what vintage this would be? Looks like one cross bolt per side instead of two. Also MOPAR and HEMI are engraved into the skirt rather than cast in

It looks to be a cast kb. Maybe someone ran it through a lightening program?
Not a billet block with core plugs.

"use it 'till it breaks, replace as needed"

Hmmm....that almost looks to me like something that might have happened on my former management's watch, maybe as a licensing thing.
Marketing pushed 'mopar hemi' branding really hard from '05 to about '11, I don't know what was spent on stickers and T shirts but it was a whole lot.
(You'll also notice "mopar wedge" branding on a few parts from then (certain heads and intakes) to try to make sure nobody felt left out.)

I'll ask a few of the guys from back then and see if anyone can remember this.

(MP did have a KB block supercharged crate engine for a short time, maybe it is from that program).

KB offered polish as an option.

It's strange. If you look at the first set of pics, specifically the one of the timing cover area there are no upper water holes. Yet it has core plugs. So its either it's a solid block or it's a water block without the holes drilled. The block number should be stamped by the oil pump mount or on the pan rail. KB will have the info on what year and what it is.

I noticed the water pump holes also. Not in the market for a solid block.
