Hey there guy's anyone using a weiand stealth 8022 manifold? i want to know how it compares to an Eddy air gap. i am pretty sure the eddy is better i have a couple on two of my cars now but i have a shot at the weiand for a pretty good price. going on a street 360 with a comp 480 magnum cam and some ported j heads in a b body with a 3000 rpm stall converter and 3.23 gears.

They're not a bad intake, never done a back to back against an Air Gap though. A 2" open spacer would liven it up as well

I actually have done a back to back. Felt no real difference going from the air gap to the stealth, but didn't want to swap back so the stealth has been on ever since.

Only two beefs I do have with the stealth 1) no provision to mount coil like stock and most other aftermarket intakes 2) every single port was a different size, so plan on gasket matching.

Still its a good intake, probably the best readily available dual plane IMHO (Its pretty much identical to the coveted LD4B intake) if you need the heat crossover for cooler climate driving or fast warm up.

I compared it to a Holley Strip Dominator and it was a bit slower. But due to the higher limits of the combo (converter, gear, cam duration, etc.), I wasn't surprised.

If you do some tuning with the Stealth, try 2 #s difference between the left & right sides. The deeper side plenum liked to be 2 numbers richer than the shallower side. (...or 2 #s leaner in the shallow plenum, depending how close you are to optimum to start with.) This was with a 1" tapered 4-hole Canton phenolic spacer & Holley 750DP. Car ran several hundredths faster and plug color was more consistent. A-B-A-B testing same day.

A seat of the pants test isn't going to tell you much, but worth hearing nonetheless
