Anyone in Ontario, can you tell me where I can get my hands on this oil. I'm in the Niagara Area.
Thanks

The Valvoline VR1 seems to be available in a lot of places, anyone using this

I've used both, I was not impressed with Brad Penn, it seemed too thick and "stringy" and I suspected the viscosity rating was not accurate.
My 408 stroker had higher oil consumption using it, (albeit minor but I still noticed it).
Used VR-1 in both my stock 440 and 408 stroker with no issues for years, (both flat tappet)

LMAO. Some of you guys are hilarious. I'm going to drain some of my 10-30 Penn Grade (Brad Penn) from my race car and see if my cats want to play with the string. LOL.

I found where it is available through WalMart.ca, probably not in the store but you can most likely order online and shipped free for store pickup?

https://www.walmart.ca/search/brad%20penn%20oil/N-114

Also there's an auto parts store or two in Mississauga ON that has it, don't know if it's called STC Auto parts or another Last Chance Auto parts??

I like VR1 for the simple fact that they actually publish their specs.
https://www.valvoline.com/our-products/motor-oil/vr1-racing-oil
It says they sell it in Canada. Comes in strait weights and 10w30, 20w50. Good zinc for my flat tappet stuff.

I was asked to contribute money to help solve the civil unrest in Egypt, but I suspect it's some sort of pyramid scheme.

I also found it on Amazon.ca through a third party, was hoping to just go pick some up that's why I asked anyone who lives around here. Another option is to go over the the USA to pick some up, I live about half hour from the border but the summer is hell with tourists trying to get across without long lineups

Try calling a local performance engine builder's shop, they may stock it or know where to get it locally That's were I got the last case of Brad Penn from.

Mike, zinc content which everybody was.is concerned was significantly reduced years ago. Shell Rotella was one of the choice oils in it's day but it went down same as most others. The zinc content is measured in ppm (parts pr million),when I had Brad Penn done it was 1577 ppm, think it still is,there may be other brands that are close but I doubt not many.Look at the far right of the analysis I posted and you can see the numbers.

Is this the same D-A company that produced D-A Diesel Oil back in the day. I used the D-A Diesel Oil in my racing dirt bike transmission, Triumph Daytona 500 motorcycle and in my '69 Road Runner, great stuff up

(Also used the Speed Sport )
