Sweet!
I'd have to run full hub caps to tone it down just a bit more, though.
Those dog dishes don't hide the wheels enough...

An underappreciated body style, great sleeper: NOBODY would guess at the butt-whippin' they'd be about to get!.
I like the '55 better than the '56, better integrated shape & trim to my eye, and the 2-tone green is perfect.

I think that was a Troy Trepanier build.

Me as well, except if it was a 56 Fury , then ...

I'm seeing that 55 finished in a 70's super stock vibe, right down to MotorWheel Fly's at all four corners, but a tunnel-rammed Hemi under the hood. No fancy valve covers, either. A slighly battered set of those stamped aluminum valve covers, Direct Connection tach drive distributor, and a Nash 5-speed. Make the Hemi a pump gas 572 with a fairly aggressive hydraulic roller.

It has a 218 flathead out of a '53 Plymouth. I have, and have had, enough musclecars. Having a flathead in this car is fine. I would, however, love to upgrade from a 3-speed manual to a 4- or 5-speed. It'll run 80 all say long as it is. The perfect drive train for it would be the 3.6, 8-speed automatic from my '18 Charger, or maybe a 4.0 out of a Cherokee.

I like the way you think. Not everything needs a Hemi or 1000HP..

VERY cool wagon! beer thumbs

We rescued him about a month before we got the wagon. He added an additional level of difficulty by needing to be right on top of me while I was trying to rewire the car.
