540-in motor. 4.500 stroke, steel rods. Pump gas, not real outrageous on the RPM.

Clevite - King - Sealed Power..............??

I think the crank is hardchromed ( if that makes a difference in bearing choice).
Also, I have Std size journals.

I'm not opposed to increasing the clearance by grinding the journals 1 or 2 thou if necessary.

What I'm most concerned with is bearing quality these days.

Which bearing do you like ?

I have always used clevite in all my past builds until the last 2. I used King main bearings in the last 2 stroker motors and was very impressed with the quality and consistency. The Clevites served me well also.

I think which ever one you use will be fine. I don't believe any of those are going to "fail" on you. I've used all three and they worked. I don't recall if any brand "fit" better than the others. Maybe I should have paid more attention. I often have to use 1/2 of another size on a few throws. My default bearing is Clevite.

I've found that the king bearing have a little ( .0005 to .0015) more clearances than Clevite P or HD bearings or Federal Mogul do on a high side standard rod journal shruggy
I do like to have at least .0025 + rod and bearing clearances on the Mopar rod size journals, .0035 + on the mains up

I like the King bearings... like Cab said.. they do tend to be a bit larger
so that helps when you want/need a little more clearance.. I just put
a set in my stroker SB to gain a little clearance
