Also, you should know that the trans in the 96 and newer is a 47RE. The front band is a good band but the apply lever and strut are weak IF you add a lot of pressure.

On edit, after 03 it is a 48RE!!!

Did you install a 47rh for some reason, if its stock it should have a 48re.
