Hello
I have an Offenhauser dual quad intake with Holleys
Looking for an air cleaner for carbs with 8 3/4 center spacing
So far I've had no luck.
Thanks, Matt

Lots of billet air cleaners have adjustable center spacing.

Thanks for the replies. I'd like to find something with a traditional look. My first instinct was to find a ford fe intake (without ford or cobra on it) but so far no luck

I have been looking for something to filter the 1050 Quickfuel carbs on my black car. So far my mission has not been very successful. You seem to have seven basic choices, all of which are sub-par:

1) The fake Hilborn injection scoop - lame
2) The fake Enderle style injection scoop - very lame
3) The shotgun scoop - The 80's called and they want their scoop back
4) A Bassett style scoop ($$$) - "Hey man did you borrow that t-ram off of your buddy's boat? Shouldn't you be wearing a life vest?"
5) Lexan - Carb fires! Enough said there.
6) Unifilter - This is probably what I will go with
7) Velocity stacks - no filter = dust. Save it for the boat!

I have considered trying to adapt a rectangular sprint car filter however it is a pretty large and clunky looking filter.

I think for a hood scoop application the uni filters are probably the best bet. IMO the old school aluminum velocity stacks look the coolest. Then again I thought Two Lane Blacktop was a moving, theatrical masterpiece with a plot that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time (will that 454 blow up?).

Let us know if you find anything interesting out there .

My spacing was odd so I had to go K&N to get the size I needed. For sure more money than I wanted to spend on small air cleaners but the best look I could come up with.

What is the distance between your air cleaner studs?

That old Offy 360 dual quad intake doesn't work near as well as the new Eddy dual plane dual quad intakes do work
Are you running the linkage on your current set up as progressive or one to one?
I have tried them both ways, one to one seemed to be a lot more responsive than it was with the carbs ran on the progressive linkage, especially after getting both carbs jetted to run the best I could get them on both ways shruggy

I used this air cleaner for my cross ram - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g287/overview/ I modified it but the universal base and hardware made it work. I had to cut and extend the base and top then purchase another element and slice them together.
