Need to see if the vibration I'm feeling is coming from the engine/trans.
SB stroker I built 7 yrs ago
727 built 5 yrs ago
reinstalled freshened up torque convertor(teeth were chewed up). I missed the alignment dowel that was missing on the drivers side. Now after the reinstallation...I get a vibration in park, neural, drive etc. It's not a u-joint, it occurs any time you rev her up. It goes away after 1900ish rpm...
After I installed the convertor etc I took it on a 150 mile road trip. All highway, it drives like a dream until the last 10miles when I felt the vibrations.

What are the chances the lower end of the engine are in need of rebuilt...there might be 7k on the drive line.

I have checked for binds in the bellhousing, engine and transmision mounts .....trust me....this has been driving me nuts since late October.

I don't understand the "missed alignment dowel" thing

Do you think it isn't lined up perfectly square with the engine?

I want my fair share

I would split the eng/trans, replace the missing dowel, pull the TC & check it for correct balance.
