I made some wiper motor block off plates a while back but I didn't have a gasket for them. Talked to Detroit Muscle and Jim made me some gaskets from 1/8 inch material. Now the plates will seal up the hole in the firewall. I made the first few plates from stainless but I think I'll switch to powder coated steel for the next batch.

I have no idea on that. I think most wiper motors are the same but I could be wrong. Wiper motors aren't really my thing.

Your'e going to have to paint that in matching body color. Interesting place for a MAP Sensor ...

Any disadvantages to aluminum? Most would be for race car applications and some are sticklers about weight.

I made one that pretty much looked just like these out of aluminum about 10 years ago. It worked fine. boogie

My son made his too. I’m glad some guys still do some of their on work instead of buying or paying someone to do it.

the only way i can play is to fab stuff myself. gotta make sure the docs and hospitals get their fair share. biggrin
having a 42 1/2yr machinist career helps, plus, it's fun to make stuff ! problem solving 101.
