This is just fyi. Allen's Fasteners in AZ sells individual ARP studs. They are listed by diameter and length. Very reasonably priced also.

Just replace the side bolts with an ARP bolt and all will be good - that side stud kit is worthless and will hit the headers

Are the cross studs coarse & fine threads like ARP studs? If so do you have enough course thread going into the main to cut off a 1/2 or 3/8" and still get full thread engagement? If so that's what I would do. Would give the same clearance as bolts.

Yeah I can see how it could get cluttered right there. I'm going to run the oil line similar to the way your buddy's 572
was set up (the one with the 6 pack on it), so that might help a little.

Its tight on mine with one of the header tubes, and mine are bolts...

Good find Bob, Thanks!...I have ordered individual ARP fasteners from McMaster-Carr as well but, they don't appear to have the selection that Allen's has.

I noticed them online, but had no idea they were legit.

Thanks for the info...this won't be the last time I need to find those!

When the Indy block went out this winter for a tune up had the bolt hole counter sunk to get the clearance that was needed for that one bolt that always seems to be a pain.
