Replacing door on our 07 Caravan, just happened to find one same year, same color, etc. Now, what controls the electric lock? Is this done through the computer via the key fob, or will I have to change the door handle ( which got mangled in the mishap which is causing me to change door(s) ). I know it has a key entry which we never use, and has 3 other doors to get in if need be.
Thanks

Yeah, you'll want that option of manual entry if the battery ever goes dead... the keyless entry system is run through the BCM, so you should be ok just changing the door. do you have the part of the handle that contains the key cylinder to change over to the new door ?

Yes, it's there, the front of the handle is boogered pretty bad, but you can get a key in it.
