What is everyone paying for a Gallon of race fuel ?
I would have thought the price would be alot lower with the falling fuel prices.

They’ll go up, but NEVER come down. Think I paid $72 for a 5 gal pail of VP C12 (14.4 a gal).

VP 110 $55 for 5 gallons. Another place 30 minutes away, is $65 for the same thing...

Pump E85 is from $3.89 to $4.21 a gallon here in bend depending on the time of year.
I haven't price race gas up here in a long time, the last price I remember for it was around $55.00 for 5 gallons of VP 110

Been over $10/gal for 110 around here for a couple years, have to drive to Coeur d'Alene to get it.

I recently paid $264 for three five gallon pails of Sunoco Maximal (116).

I think the crude oil is a small part of the cost of racing gas.

I assume small batches and additives run the cost up.

e85 is $1.92 per gallon here.....SO glad I made the switch years ago. It paid for itself at least 3 times over.

110 Cam 2 is $7.29 by me. I mix 2 gallons with 2 gallons of 93 pump swill.

Testing again next Wednesday. If it shows no improvement over the 91 no alcohol I was using, I'll switch back.

$85 for a 5 gallon pail been that way for a LONG time, $127 for a 5 gallon pail for the Vette our west. Mid 90's back east

Sunoco 116 is $9.99 a gallon at the pump at Sonoma Raceway. They have 112, 114 and the 116 leaded. They also have high octane unleaded. Not sure but I think it's 93, 97 and 100 octane. The pumps only go to 9.99 so I guess that's the way it is until they get new pumps? Been the same for a few years now. Otherwise, VP is expensive like Al says but I like it the best.

I bought 5 gallons of VP MS109 unleaded last fall and it was $12 a gallon, 110 unleaded at the pump is around $8.00 a gallon IIRC. I just dumped the rest of the 109 in my SXS, my car likes pump 93 better, thank goodness.

Just got home from getting 10 gal. of 116 12.99 a gal.
About 3 or 4 bucks cheaper a gal then the track

I'd be interested in how you got the av gas. you have a plane? Tried at a small airstrip and was told I need some FAA ID number to purchase. Fed. Gov. regulation.
