this will be my first time out this year and plan on making it a yearly excursion, just finishing up on 1@1/2 months of eye surgeries (cataracts in both eyes and another procedure for a genetic problem) so now I should be able to find the tree and hopefully see the lights now LOL,,,anyway last year was the first for about 5 years and was a real good event, Friday is TNT and gamblers and regular racing on Saturday @ Sunday, hope to see yall there. sticky please

I'm hoping to race but I still don't have my engine back together yet. I will probably just run in Pro because I couldn't get that Edelbrock dialed in last year. I hope to just have it running before the show.

Well I was going to have it running today but my pushrods are too long with my new cam and lifters The new lifters are taller than they advertise them as. It's gonna be close but if I can get a set made or use an off the shelf set from summit my car will be there. The last set I made myself from a kit Nick gave me with my new heads so I may try to make another set again if I have to.

Had a great time last year.

Found some Lunati pushrods at Summit that were very close to what I needed so I got them installed and should be running tonight. I still need to break it in and put the inner springs back probably tomorrow morning. I really hope the pits aren't a mud pit but it's gonna be really soggy from all rain today and yesterday.
Forecast doesn't look good for the weekend Was just on the D42 site and they have changed it due to weather conditions so it looks like a one day event but I',m not 100% sure so check the 42 FB page to get more details.

Well Friday and Saturday look good. I plan on heading to National Trails for Sunday's Buckeye Stock/Superstock race, already on the ladder from earlier rain out. Hopefully the weather Will cooperate.

FYI- they still plan on opening at the same time tomorrow (1 p.m.) for test and tune. The staging lanes open at 4. They're also allowing camping so; anyone that planned on going this weekend can go tomorrow as planned, get some passes in and beat the world on Saturday. We're still going up tomorrow as planned to spectate.
