thats the part but its a place that sells to rebuilders, hence you dont see the price.

googler the cross reference numbers

Chrysler 1889147 comes up with this on Ebay

I will say that if the starter in your picture is the one you are using, I'd take it to a good rebuilder and have them go through it, if for nothing else to get all the crud off and out of it. While that's going on I;d fix whatever is leaking.

do you have p/n for the other solenoid parts?? I think there is a rubber boot under that cover.
I tested the starter, works fine. Just years of crud on it.

p.s. where are you guys getting those part numbers?

Free Online Parts manuals

The solenoid itself is readily available from just about anywhere.

Rockauto lists the brushes, drive bushing, the drive and the solenoid as all available. I assumed a 383 since you never said what 61 you had.
