I have been looking for something to filter the 1050 Quickfuel carbs on my black car. So far my mission has not been very successful. You seem to have seven basic choices, all of which are sub-par:
1) The fake Hilborn injection scoop - lame
2) The fake Enderle style injection scoop - very lame
3) The shotgun scoop - The 80's called and they want their scoop back
4) A Bassett style scoop ($$$) - "Hey man did you borrow that t-ram off of your buddy's boat? Shouldn't you be wearing a life vest?"
5) Lexan - Carb fires! Enough said there.
6) Unifilter - This is probably what I will go with
7) Velocity stacks - no filter = dust. Save it for the boat!
I have considered trying to adapt a rectangular sprint car filter however it is a pretty large and clunky looking filter.

Then again I thought Two Lane Blacktop was a moving, theatrical masterpiece with a plot that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time (will that 454 blow up?).
