I have bought a 1969 RR and need help with some of the numbers on the tag. I managed to decode most of it. Any help is appreciated.

25153 160133 9A156698
915 592 603
1T 7X N96
T3 T3 M6T T7 V21
RM23 E63 D21 A28 066126

Also is the T3 paint code a popular color. I am restoring it so should I keep it the same T3 or change it to a color I like better which is the T5?

Thank you for the input!
P.R.

That's an awesome color IMO! I'm also fan of keeping color original.

You're mistaken that it's a popular color. It's among the rarer colors.

Most guys here will vote for keeping the original color.
I lean that way myself.
Google "mopar lynch road fender tag decoding", and I think allpar.com has a chart.
From what I can tell - I'm no expert on Lynch Rd tags - it looks like:
VIN RM23H9A156698
SPD of Oct 28th
RR Hardtop, 383, 4speed, air grabber, hood stripes, tan bucket interior, T7 interior door color.
Some of the upper codes are #s for engine & trans as I recall, kinda redundant, but you might find the same #s written on a valve cover and stenciled on the trans case right side.

9A156698=1969 Lynch Rd and last 6 of VIN
1T=Tan vinyl top
7X=black accent stripe
N96=Air Grabber
T3= Honey Bronze paint
M6T=Tan vinyl bucket seat interior
T7=Saddle bronze upper door paint
V21=Performance hood treatment
E63=383
D21=4 speed
A28=Scheduled production date 10/28
915, 592, 603 are engine trans and rear end codes but not sure what they are off the top of my head.

It sounds more like a question than a statement.
