I just put a new Borgeson box, pump and Hydratech booster in my Belvedere.

Unfortunately I find myself in need of a cooler but with my aux. transmission cooler space is a bit tight. Who runs a steering cooler and do you have any pics of how/where you mounted it?

I run a power steering cooler on my Barracuda. I run the lines under the battery tray and mounted the cooler on the AC condenser. I was trying to "hide" the lines the best I could. I also hid the Magnefine filter under the battery tray.

The PS oil cooler I selected was the cheap Hayden unit.

I just installed the Derale 13200 Power Steering Cooler Kit on my Jeep Cherokee. I like that unit better because that unit has pieces of plastic protecting the fins. This made it easier to wiggle on the hoses without mangling the fins. It is not much more money than the Hayden unit.

The PS oil temperature is about 40-50 degrees cooler with the cooler. Prior to installing the cooler, I would routinely see 230+ oil temps using a laser temp sensor on the oil in the PS pump reservoir.

I've run the stock cop cooler that mounts to the pump when I had PS equipped cars.

I pulled one of a 318 Dakota and tweaked it a bit to mount to the pump like a cop unit would. The lines come in to the cooler through what is now the top, so the box-to cooler line is routed under the battery tray.

I was going to say the factory already solved this problem for you. Especially if space is an issue.

True, priced like they are made of gold though. That is why I went the Dakota cooler route. Easy to adapt.
