I met Billy at Speedworld back in06? while visiting b1Wes. It was brief, but i liked the guy! My condolances to the family. By the way, God has lots of work waiting for good souls like Billy. I am convinced he is supremely happy!

Such a great guy and Mopar FAMILY! I have enjoyed his chronicles of Drag Week so much over the years. I got to meet him and the clan at Drag Week a few years ago, and he was just as nice in person. Godspeed to his family, friends and fans.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Billy. When I first saw this tread I got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach knowing what was to come for he and his family. I lost my mother to the same evil disease 6 years this July.
I know what his family went through, holding on to every thread of fading hope that they will beat it.

I will say this, after mom died I realized. She was blessed. she died 5 1/2 weeks after diagnoses. And judging from the date of the first post about Billy, he was blessed also.
This is one nasty evil disease that is very very painful and few ever recover from. They( My mother and Billy) lived a normal life all the way to the last few weeks, and we got to say our goodbye's. It's okay.. There job was done here, they got re-assigned. They will live in our memories and our hearts until we meet again.
God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

His family has my prayers for healing.
