Has anyone found a source for the correct nut found on the battery tray supports on a 69 b body? They are on other cars as well I referring to the ones that do not come to a complete closing all the way to the end. They are not U nuts like fender nuts. I think the ones on the inner fender through the bottom of the tray are different and they are U nuts. I have pictures at the shop. RT specialties does not show the correct ones. If I really want to get picky, I could try and find the to odd bolts that connect on the bottom of the battery tray to the inner fender. The have are pointed and self tapping. I bet those are impossible to find. They are always rusted to death, even in Texas.

Great info guys, as usual. I made a big order at amk, but it certainly looks like little Detroit has some good products as well. May order some from them as well. None of this stuff is cheap anymore, that’s for sure. The thing I have found in all my parts cars is that not all cars had the same j nut/ bolt in the same spot.
