Hello,
Was wondering if anybody knew what these two bolts are for.
I took them off an original '69 440 about 30 years ago and can't remember what they are for.
They are 3/8" dia. with about 1 3/8" of thread
They have no markings and a solid, head and washer as one.
They also have the plastic thread lock material in them.
thanks for any suggestions, Jeff

OK thanks, that makes sense now.
After using an electric pump for 30 years, I forgot about the fuel pump.
I always used short bolts and a block off plate.
Thanks again, Jeff
