Got a power glide and can not get a flex shield to fit around the starter I have tried two different company's and they both will not fit I think they are made by the. Same company different name. But they are too long and hit the kick out for the starter. I do not have room between the frame.and trans even if you could bent it. not allow to cut it . any.other shields. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks

I'm assuming you are not using a adapter bell housing so you can use a stock Mopar starter, yes or no?
If yes call the flex shield company for help on this scope twocents

Stock case? Trim the extra junk off of the case. Look at a Reid or BTE. Make it look like that.

I called the peoples name on the shield they said they never had this problem. Well they checked it out and came back and said they tryed it on a stock case and it would not fit then was told I needed to cut the ears and flange that the dust cover mount to... I really did not want to do that so I called CSR talked to them they said there's would fit. Did not want to spend that kind of money but they had what would work. Thanks :

An aftermarket case wouldn’t need an external shield. I just trim the stock case. Goes in better, headers fit better, shield fits. I don’t understand not wanting to do that. Everybody did it when they ran stock cases.
