I have searched the site and have not found an answer for what I need. I have Trickflow 270 heads on an RB with Crane roller rockers and run a Pro billet MSD distributor. What I need now is valve covers that will work with this combination. What have you guys run that works? Pictures would be awesome. I would hate to carve on the distributor? Why didn't MSD make the distributor body 1" to 2" taller? Thanks in advance, Digger73 (Mike)

Thanks for the picture Andy. Your distributor is higher on the valve cover than mine. On mine the surface that the cap sits on is level with the outer lip of the valve cover. It seems that the heads have a taller valve cover surface. My heads are the max wedge ports if that makes a difference?

I have Indy style cast aluminum valve covers and did need to grind the corner so the msd pro billet will fit. Not a big deal for me since you can’t see it on the engine, and it only took a few minutes. I definitely would not do any grinding on the distributor.

Thanks for all the answers. Has anyone used this combination with the Trick Flow valve covers? They seem to have the relief cast into them already.
