Does anyone have an original interior they can measure or illustration showing the proper placement of the seat medallions on a 69 RR bench seat, front and rear?

That’s pretty straight forward. Now the hard part is finding a good set. One of those items I’m surprised hasn’t been reproduced

I thought I saw where someone was reproducing the '69 style but not the '68, but I could be wrong.
Agreed, you'd think they'd be popular; those are both hard to find and almost always missing from "restored" cars.
I suppose the cost of doing them would be stiff, between the metal stampings and the vinyl inserts, and then there's the variety of colors...

Thanks. I have a perfect set removed several years ago in black. I appreciate the responses.

Tempest and Topside, what is the interior code for your cars? The only reason I ask is that I THINK there is more than one trim level for a bench seat interiror. Thanks.

There were 2 bench seat trim levels 68 & 69: base (= Belvedere) and Decor (= Satellite).
Base trim of course had no seat medallions.
Base seat inserts use different grain in 69 center than in 68, but their door trim panels still used the 68 Reed grain in the center area.
The 69 bucket cars used the Decor interior other than of course the seats (= Sport Satellite & GTX).

Hey 6Pak, check out Barry's huge site "hamtramck-historical" - he's compiled a ton of factory info, including the trim guides that show you the colors, codes, & etc.
You can get lost in there for hours!
