A friend asked me to help him swap a 2016 Scat Pack 6 speed into his 68 Road Runner. He bought a complete (light front hit) 2016 Challenger from copart so we can have a complete take out unit and any of the misc stuff needed as well. I have been doing a lot of reading and research about what is needed and required for the swap. We have the keys, computers, etc and the car runs and drives.

My biggest question, and his too, is what harness to use? The Mopar performance one and the EFI source one seem like good two of the best choices from what I have read. So which one would you folks recommend for simplicity?

We'll run a Tanks Inc tank set up, Dakota Digital gauge cluster, and an Altercation front K member, if any of that matters. This is our first modern Hemi swap and I'll be doing most of the work.

Simplicity? As a Megasquirt owner, I'd not really recommend the EFISource setup.

If you want to dive into learning EFI tuning head on, then go for the MS. I know exactly what my ECU is doing to the engine at any given time, the learning curve has been steep, but I enjoy it.

if you want to turn the key and drive around, buy Mopar.

Thanks Goody!

Yeah, he's 70, so get in a drive are really important to him.

The Mopar performance one would be the get in and drive option. I actually have one and need to get rid of it for the Hellcat harness. Send me a PM if you are interested. Thanks
