I have a purple cam I traded for a few years ago but have no data on it. It was for a 383 but I do not know if it is for hydraulic or solid lifters, the only markings on it other than the purple paint and the numbers 911525 cast into the butt of the shaft. Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

No it doesn't. Did you read the asterisks?

Generally, a color that was introduced midyear appears on the sheet the next model year. I've seen it for Orbit Orange (Pontiac) and FM3 too.
