I think Smith Bros. offers their screws in a couple of overall lengths, but you'd need to contact them to get more info.

Make sure they are good alloy steel. Most are made of just mild steel carborized, And they will crack and break. Try McMaster Carr. good quality fasteners.

I can't tell you the exact specs but I've bought the Crane adjusters from the usual suspects (summit, jegs, etc)

I have done the same , but still have intermittent issues with the thread shattering . I think Smith Bros or Manton is in my future

How long have they been selling the tool steel adjusters?
I was told that they didn't have them several years ago is why I switched to Mantons, same thing on the pushrod ends confused
