Finally got all the parts to put the engine in and the rr pan hits on the right side. K is centered, milodon says it's not a pan issue but a k issue. Oil pump also hits the k but not sure if it's related to not being able to level the engine. Just asking before i start cutting the pan up

Not sure what your question is. Were you actually expecting a whole pile of aftermarket parts to fit together? On my car projects I spend 90% of the time trying to figure out how to get the new parts I just bought to fit and work.

Not realistic to expect it all to work together when none of it is oe. You introduced too many variables. See what the best avenue is to remedy the situation.

I suspect, based on the other Milodon thread, that if he was running the stock K member and it hit Milodon would blame the stock K member there too.

Whatever Milodon. Point is you're not going to get any love from them.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

I was just seeing if anyone else had run into the same issue. I called milodon before ordering the pan and was told that the pan would work with my k member and that it "fit everything without issue." I knew doing the big block swap mounts was questionable with the qa1 k because i also called them and got "no clue, it's made for a small block." Guess i got spoiled doing drag cars because i never ran into these issues. Pan is off getting 3" chopped of the right side, left mounting pad has been modified for oil pump clearance. Hopefully it all goes back together smoothly

I'm using that pan with the Indy aluminum block, Shumacher wedge to Hemi mounts on a 70 k-frame. No clearance issues.

That road race pan is tight in any chassis. I've never seen one that went together easily, every one I've ever worked on has required at least some work to make it fit. In a couple of cases I just sold the pan and started over with something else.
