69 383 in an a body. Milodon 31580 pan, 32000 tray, 18328 tube per the catalog. Pickup tube support bracket is too tall to line up with the main bolt. The bracket welded on the tube for the bracket hits the tray. Anyone else had issues?

Not with that particular combo, but I think Milodon's slipping these days. Their pan and pan stud kit for my 65 Cuda LA engine aren't completely compatible with each other.

Now some might say "thy are aftermarket you have to expect that". not when it's all the same companies stuff I say.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

That is about par for the course with Milodon these days. The engine builder I work with just spent a whole day putting a Milodon 31580 oil pan on a big block. He had to cut stuff apart and reweld it to get it all to fit together. Not sure what is going on at Milodon, maybe some new employees on the floor or something.

I'd put a camera down that pickup tube as well and make sure its not rusty inside, nice shiny on the out side doesn't guaranty what is on the inside, ask me how I know.

32006 is the correct windage tray for the tube and pan. guess they redesigned the tube and never changed the part number in the catalog...

Yeah that happens too. A lot of aftermarket mfgs are mom and pop shops and maybe they update the website and maybe they don't. It isn't like Amazon where they have 10,000 programmers working 24 hours a day on the website.

Check it for leaks... just watched a new Milodon big block road race pan leak all over the dyno due to a bad weld.
