Was wondering if anyone has any experience with Vickers Performance Transmission in Alliance Oh. I know Rossler (90 min drive)is close but if Vickers does nice wk its nice that they are 20 minutes away.
I see stuff on Facebook and YouTube but prefer 1st hand knowledge.

Ok

I had an issue (that I caused) back in 2017 and I finally took it out to Randy Biddle in Ohio on July 3rd. I picked it up July 4th and he found my issue and put it in a new (used) case. Not his fault but that case cracked 6 runs later so i use ATI cases only now. Randy is a great guy and if you live near to him LOTS of big hitters run his transmissions. He's not far from Dragway42. Like I said I do my own transmissions but Randy gets me Pumps, gearsets, and a few other goodies..

Thanks for the info. I was going with an aftermarket case. Ried or ATI doesn't matter I just want a quality product. Your endorsement means a lot.

I really really like these ATI cases. I bought 3 of them and have one more to build. I have a 1.69 low gear for my heads-up project, a 1.98 low gear in my black Duster, and Randy got me a 1.80 gearset for ether my green Duster if I ever finish it or a needed spare.

Do you know if ATI will recert their case. That will be a deciding factor on which case to use.
Is there anything about the ATI case you like better than the Reid? I have reviewed past threads and both seem to get good views. This is all a new direction for me. So trying to get as much info as possible.

I've heard nothing but good about both Reid and ATI. Not sure about the re-certs as in 44 years of weekly racing I've never had a guy climb under my car to check out certs. Most of the tech guys are fatter than I am and I hate climbing under my car. Seatbelts yes, neutral safety switch, helmet, roll cage cert, NHRA and IHRA licence yes.

Yes, ATI and Reid both will re-certify a case.

I used Rossler for years for all of my Powerglide stuff and never had an issue. I did have numerous issues with a 727 they did for me though (street car at that...). I use Select Performance on Long Island now for my stuff as they support NHRA Division 1, where I do most of my racing.
