Does anyone know or have information on how a LA build Fender Tag was handled when car was being assembled?
Was it painted in place with both screws or bent up on left so only one screw was painted??

Thanks
Ron

Can't speak for 71 MY....... however, my 70 LA built RR tag shows no evidence of being bent.

That's what I was thinking but previous owner had a bend and both screws painted which didn't make sense. I figured one way or the other??

Thanks Ron

Thank you Steve very helpful! So hard to tell but I would guess the right side screw wasn't painted them, and it looks like you have one of those inspection tags like mine under the left screw?

Very hard to see any paint on the screws and there wasn't an inspection tag.

My '71 Charger SE WP29N1E (March 1971) does not appear to have been bent upwards on one side. There was a heavy coat of dark grey paint on the underside and a light mist coat of color on top. Both screws were surface rusted, and there was the remaining short portion of the inspection tag under the left screw. Under the tag the inner fender was lightly coated with rust. The car sat for many years in the desert mountains of Nevada with the hood removed.

Interesting so that is different than Steve's Duster but his Duster is closer in time frame. My 71 Bee is Nov. 4th. (B04).

Thanks Ron
