What something driver friendlier But good performance clutch,,
I am process of building a 440 for my 1970-Cuda, Have to decide on what brand of clutch I should use,
My build will be stock to 425 maybe 450 hp
What would be the best choice for the clutch,
The clutch that was in the car was a old style,
It felt like a heavy clutch to push down, just like truck !

Want anyones opinion and experience will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Center Force dual friction in my 65 440.Its built and has been beat for at least 15 years.Stil like new and hooks great.Plus easy peddle/I did have to remove the over center spring. It replaced my McCleod and it was a good clutch.Had hig pressure though.Rocky

If you decide on Center Force......I can make you a deal one that was only used for a few 100 miles. Came off of a 70 440-4 Super Bird in favor of the factory style 3 finger clutch. PM me if interested. Joe

Is there any hill to speak of where you live? Dual friction clutches hate stop and go traffic if there are hills involved.
