I used to own this car back in 1978. Challenger It has had a number of things changed along the way (T/A spoilers added, cowl panel blackout, side stripes added, flip top gas cap added, polished trim rings added, A/C added (horror)) but the strangest one is the kick panels in the interior. Even though the car has white interior the kick panels were black when I owned it. I never knew that white kick panels even existed. But there they are on the car now. Is this just a restoration error? Or should they be white? I don't recall ever seeing white kick panels before.

I have a 70 Challenger R/T with all original white interior. The kick panels are black X2

I dont think white kick panels were ever avail in anything,,,,,,,, till the mid 70s A bodies maybe?
I want to think my old 75 Duster had white kick panels in a white interior car ,,,been a while since that car so my memory isn't what it used to be

It could be that this is the manufacturing basic color white with out adding a dye of color to make Black and other colors. 1971 White and black interiors also have Black Kick Pads.

LOL Barry now I have this picture of you driving a F8 Green 4 door 70 Sport Satellite with a Chrome Foot gas pedal and the little Chrome Foot on the High Beam switch.

My '70 Sport Satellite sedan is actually FF4 with pedal dress up.
The 'happy feet' in it are mine whenever I drive it. :-) F4 - F8 - it's all good driving any 70 Mopar is all good
